From the oil rigs in Siberia to the clubs and songwriters circles of Nashville, Tennessee, Englishman David Bradley brings his soulful country rock & roll to the U.S. via his new home in Music City. After settling in with the community of singers and songwriters in Nashville, David offers his first single, “Soak It Up” just in time for summer. This infectious, mid-tempo rocker leads off his forthcoming album which is a culmination of travelling the world and growing up on good American country music.

A proud new resident of Nashville, David has relocated from the town of Sunderland in northern England where he was born and raised. Following in his father’s footsteps, he made a life for himself as an oil engineer uncovering places beyond the reaches of common imagination. Stationed for months in the forests of Siberia and on an oil rig in the middle of the Caspian Sea gave him a deep empathy for others who also found themselves far from the comforts and familiarities of home. David found himself writing about the hopes and fears that a man must confront on his journey through life.

David’s first band, in which he served as lyricist and singer, was of a band formed with fellow engineers playing first in the U.K. and then on the road (or sea), wherever their jobs took them. “We’d put on concerts for the guys where we worked, entertained the troops, so-to-speak”. The band played to an audience of 20,000 in the remote country of Kazakhstan, formerly of the Soviet Union, where his music united people of many towns and villages spread hours apart, many without electricity or running water. This experience inspired David and with it emerged his conviction that music was where his heart truly lay.

In 2005, David committed to his songwriting and moved for a year to a town in Siberia where he recorded his songs with a band of classically trained jazz musicians gathered locally. The songs were filled with the music David’s father would bring home from his frequent trips to Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, Iran — tapes of American country music by Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson.

When he returned home, David’s first steps towards his solo career were mixing his tracks at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London. The result, an album entitled, “Songs From A Dirt Road” (now available on iTunes and CD Baby). The songs exemplified his contagious melodies, gorgeously simple acoustic performances and honest and compelling voice. Powerful lyrics told of his deep feelings, a reflection of his unusual and lonely journey through life.

Now, with his feet firmly planted in the green grass in Nashville, David is collaborating with some of the most notable songwriters and producers in the great music town where he performs with a full band at the Music City Motorplex and other local venues while hosting and participating in the famed songwriter’s rounds. His songs and performances have garnered him a highly coveted publishing deal with Wrensong Music Publishing. David’s live shows also brought him to the attention of the AristoMedia Global Showcase who invited him to participate in their international “artist showcase of tomorrow’s stars,” kicking off CMA Music Fest in June, 2009:

“David Bradley brought the showmanship for his closing set, working the crowd and the ladies, in particular. Maybe it’s because he’s been living in Nashville for a while, but this pleasant fellow from the U.K. really came across with confidence on stage – he clearly knew how to deliver an energetic set without seeming too contrived. This is a guy to keep an eye on as well.” (The AristoMedia Blog)

Currently working with singer/songwriter/producer Brady Seals (Little Texas, Hot Apple Pie), David is putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated new album. The first single release, “Soak It Up”, is hitting the airwaves just in time for the hot, lazy days of summer.

“ UK artist David Bradley has a cheerful new single which is so ‘summer’ I could practically smell the beach when I listened to it. The mid-tempo, perfect-for-a-roadtrip ‘Soak It Up’ is available on Amazon and iTunes and is very worthy of your attention.” (Urban Country Blog)

Many country music fans and industry professionals agree: David Bradley is on the fast track.

Watch out for David Bradley, a Brit with a soulful sound, undeniable charm, rockin’ edge and a whole new brand of country.

Jaron, of Jaron and The Long Road to Love, is a fresh face on the new-country music scene. His sound is that of a crisp blend of powerfully smooth vocals meshed with a musical skill-set whose charming looks and polished talents has drawn him comparisons to Keith Urban and Tim McGraw. Lyrically Jaron and The Long Road to Love deals with real life issues such as loss, love, redemption and humility in an authentically honest, non-ironical fashion, that is reminiscent of Country great singer-songwriters such as Townes van Zandt and Kris Kristofferson.

Formerly, of the band Evan and Jaron, with his identical twin brother the pair had immense success particularly with their breakout album of the same name. The album Evan and Jaron was released in 2000, but truly made its big impact the following year as it featured three Top 40 hits including the song “Crazy for This Girl”, which reached number four on Billboard. Additionally, the Evan and Jaron album showcased the hit “From My Head to My Heart” featured in the film Runaway Bride starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. The album also produced the popular song “The Distance” that was also integrally shown in the film Serendipity, which starred John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.

Jaron is a true Southerner and was born and raised in Tucker, Georgia and yet from small town Southern roots went on to be featured in People’s 50 Most Beautiful People. He has also performed on such shows as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Live with Regis and Kelly. Jaron now spends his time living in Nashville, TN and recording new music. He has a specific emphasis on connecting with his audiences and fans via a rarefied talent of showmanship as a dedicated and passionately hard-working troubadour.

Jaron and The Long Road to Love focuses on music that doesn’t box itself in with a single genre or typeset, but rather works with a passionate storytelling vibe. Jaron consistently makes a point showing his fans true love not just with concerts, but also in reaching out to them daily and directly with no fake posts, letters or blogs written by some “media person”, in social media and networking. He is the kind of modern and savvy musician, who gets that fans are into the internet, but also that some are into writing letters and he prides himself on responding personally to everyone no matter the medium.

All of this, that is mentioned above and heard in his songs and seen in the relationships with fans both new and old, is what honestly makes Jaron real. He is that refreshing voice that new-Country musicians are claiming to own and that rooted old country musicians genuinely stand for from the Southern Appalachian Mountains to the songs of Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. When you add all of this all together what you get is a simple, sincere message that is unclouded by irony or artificial goods. What you get is Jaron and The Long Road to Love.

bradyseals-tshirt2NASHVILLE, Tenn. – March 23, 2010 – StarCity Recording artist Brady Seals recently released the intoxicating new radio single, “Been There, Drunk That,” from his current album, Play Time, along with timely PSAs encouraging responsible drinking. To counterbalance the sensible and sober message, Seals filmed a dizzying and entertaining video for the song and launched BeenThereDrunkThat.com as a social networking site celebrating and lamenting drunken tales and porcelain bowl praying.

From moonshine to cognac and beer pong to body shots, “Been There, Drunk That,” written by Seals and Bill Whyte, name checks about every alcoholic beverage known to partiers and every possible way to consume it. The video needed to be equally festive so StarCity hired Nashville director James King who used the city’s nightlife as a backdrop shooting in hotspots such as Tin Pan Alley, Valentino’s and East Nashville’s Red Door. Throughout the video, Seals acts as the voice of reason, telling the inebriated main character, comedian/actor Taylor Mosbey, “no thanks Joe, I’ve been down that road, been there, drunk that.”

Check out the video on Brady’s YouTube page here and look for it soon on CMT Pure, CMT.com, GACtv.com, Roughstock.com and Yahoo! Music, among many other sites. Digital Rodeo posted a behind-the-scenes look at “Been There, Drunk That” here.

To continue the spirit of the song, Seals launched BeenThereDrunkThat.com, a social networking/viral video site. Fans over 21 years of age can log on to post pictures and videos of themselves and friends in the midst of their bacchanalian celebrations. While there, visitors can view a studio video of Brady and the band performing the song and hear his PSA message encouraging people to “Rock Responsibly.”

Play Time offers a collection of jaunty, tongue-in-cheek country songs and is garnering rave reviews from music fans and critics alike. Country Weekly writes, “[Play Time is a] musically freewheeling and lyrically lascivious new solo album” and Roughstock.com reports, “Brady’s fourth solo album is all about having a good time and escaping the daily grind of life.”

Brady Seals embarks on “The Play Time 2010 Tour” beginning March 25 in Grand Rapids, MI. He is joined by StarCity Recording label mate Nathan Lee Jackson (“Desperate Man”) and Englishman David Bradley (“Soak It Up”). For a complete list of tour stops, visit www.bradyseals.com.

When Jason Sturgeon sings about the simple life, he’s not just painting a picture of small town America. He’s describing who he is. Born and raised in Petersburg, IN, (pop. 3500) Sturgeon grew up in a family of coal miners, oilmen and farmers who literally made their living off the land, and still do to this day. Running wild and free as the quarter horses he learned to ride and compete on from the time he was 14, he grew up listening to country music artists such as Kenny Rogers, Alabama, George Strait and the outlaws but indulged his rowdier side through acts like Pantera, Rage Against The Machine, and Godsmack, and all of those influences collide on his latest CD, the aptly titled, THAT’S ME on Sturgeon’s own label, Toolpusher Records.

Growing up in Indiana Sturgeon found himself influenced by fellow native John Mellencamp and found himself in the company of one of Mellencamp’s band members, drummer Dane Clark. Jason and Dane struck up a friendship and soon the two were collaborating together professionally.

The resulting album, THAT’S ME is a vivid collection of audio snapshots of Jason’s life. From the hard-driving, unapologetic opening strains of the sexy, growling title track to the scorching heat of “Endless Summer,” you know exactly who he is, where he comes from, and what kind of ride you’re in for…which is not for the faint of heart. A hell-raising country rocker who can tear it up all night long, he also shows he can break it down in the quieter moments on tracks like the seductive “Blankets,” or spend moments in contemplation on what we’re all doing here on tunes like the homespun song “The Cover.” And he sums up his journey so far on the heartland ode “Simple Life,” a three-minute declaration of all that he is and holds dear.

To understand Jason, pop in the CD and listen…he lays it out bare for you in three-minute vignettes packed with truth and honesty served straight up, just the way he likes it.
