Lady Antebellum – 'Lady Antebellum'
Lady Antebellum consists of Charles Kelly, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood. They released their self-titled debut in April 2008. The first single "Love Don't Live Here" shot up to No. 3 on the charts, and the trio joined Martina McBride on the road to promote their album. Their second single "Looking for a Good Time" is a Top 20 hit, and still rising. One of the things I love most about Lady Antebellum is that they don't stick with one lead singer. The future looks very bright indeed for this talented group, who picked up the ACM Top New Vocal Group/Duo Award in May, and the CMA New Artist Award in November.
Lost Trailers – 'Holler Back'
The Lost Trailers have been around a while, having released two independent albums – "Trailer Trash" and "Welcome to the Woods" before being signed by major label BNA Nashville. Their first major label was released in 2006, and produced two singles that failed to crack the Top 40. Magic struck when the guys released the fun "Holler Back." The song eventually reached No. 9 on the charts, and their second single "How 'Bout You Don't" is making its way up the charts as well.
Zac Brown Band – 'The Foundation'
One day I heard this catchy little song called "Chicken Fried," and soon after, everyone was requesting the song, and it has become the band's first No. 1 song. The Zac Brown Band actually originated four years ago, and they've been touring ever since, playing upwards of 200 dates a year. A live show that leaves people that didn't know who they were when they got there becoming fans, singing along as they leave the show.
