(Nashville, TN) Parlor Records artist Daniel Smith is wishing his fans a merrier Christmas with the release of his first holiday single ever, “O Holy Night.” The tall, handsome Kentuckian selected this classic because it has long been his father’s favorite carol.
“It’s become an essential part of our family’s Christmas celebration,” Smith says. “I’ve always wanted to record it as a gift to my dad. Next year, I plan to release a full Christmas album that will be built around this song.”
Produced by Parlor Records’ Larry Sheridan, Smith’s triumphant and reverential interpretation of “O Holy Night” is backed by a majestic string section and chorus.
Smith is experiencing something of a seasonal clash—musically speaking. As his Christmas offering makes its way to America’s radio stations, the sun-drenched “Livin’ The Good Life,” has been turned into an exciting dance mix and will soon be pounding out the beat at clubs and dance halls across America.
