We have a lot planned for "Why Ask Why" including a dance mix and karaoke contest! More details will follow!

Posted by admin On September - 16 - 2008

Matt Stillwell strapped on his acoustic guitar and played a couple tunes from his upcoming album yesterday at the SESAC building on Music Row. Friends and colleagues mingled in the lobby while tasting the famous, legal. Cat Daddy Moonshine.

Everyone huddled to the front of the room to watch the "Shine" video that was filmed earlier this summer at the first annual Shine Fest.

Be sure to check out Matt's up coming tour schedule so you can see him when he comes through your town!

Club Connection Visits The Beach Wagon in Myrtle Beach, SC

Posted by admin On September - 10 - 2008

Marco Club Connection was in  Myrtle Beach for Labor Day and decided to stop in and see  DJ Gary at the Beach Wagon.

Beach Wagon is in a great location for both tourists and locals. Its bright neon sign pulls beach goers in from the street and offers something for any patron. There are pool tables in the back, a large stage and dance floor and plenty of tables to talk and enjoy a cold beverage. The bartenders were VERY friendly and lots of fun.

Thank you Beach Wagon and Gary for treating us so well. If you are ever in the Myrtle Beach area, stop in and see our new friends.

Adam Gregory’s Reflection on his Opry Performance

Posted by admin On September - 2 - 2008

We headed over to the Opry around 5:30 p.m. on the tour bus. The thought of us going to the Opry was so surreal. Once there, we were assigned dressing room 8 backstage. After having a few minutes to take it all in, Mark, Chad and myself went to rehearse with the house band. They sounded amazing and had our songs down pat.

Around 7 p.m. we made our way to side-stage where I was set to perform at 7:15 p.m. I had this feeling of excitement mixed in with some nerves. When my time came to stand on the famous circle on stage, it was like a rush of adrenaline came over me. I performed three songs in a row — first one being 'Crazy Days,' followed by 'What It Takes' and then ending with 'Down The Road.'

The crowd attendance was more than they had expected for a Tuesday night. Everyone seemed really enthused with the music I shared with them. When I was done, I made my way off stage and was greeted by Little Jimmy Dickens. He looked at me and said "Good job!". I would have to say that this was one of the many highlights of my night. They really weren't kidding when they said he was just 4'11".

After my performance, I stayed for a little while and visited with all my friends. We then headed out on the bus to pick up the rest of the band members from the loft. We now are on our way to Atlanta, Georgia where we'll be doing a show tomorrow for Carl Black Chevrolet.
