Adam Gregory Digital Release and Opry Performance August 26

Posted by admin On August - 27 - 2008

The eSingle, video and mobile versions of "Crazy Days" will all be made available for purchase digitally at iTunes and other major digital outlets next week.  The song has shown continual growth on the charts since its debut fifteen weeks ago, breaking into the Top 20 this week on Music Row and steadily climbing through the Thirties on the Country Aircheck and R&R charts.

His first ever appearance on the Opry is also set for Tuesday, August 26, where he will perform along with Chuck Wicks, Steve Wariner, Bill Anderson and Riders In The Sky at the Grand Ole Opry House.  Gregory is scheduled to perform three songs at 7:15 p.m.

Gregory's recent alignment with labels Big Machine, No Strings Attached and Midas Records has bolstered the exposure and response to "Crazy Days."  In addition to its progress on the radio charts, the video has seen significant airplay thus far from Artist and Fans Network on DirectTV, Music Mix USA, Music Choice, CMT and GAC.  It can also be seen on mainstream retail reels such as Beauty Brands and Ashley Furniture in over 300 store locations nationwide.

Gregory's yearlong, hectic schedule continues with a whirlwind trip back to his native Canada, where he will serve as a co-presenter at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards Sept. 8.  He then returns to the road and his radio tour, which has been extended due to the overwhelming response he has received on his visits in the last several months.

Monster Trucks Challenge The Music Industry In Music City

Posted by admin On August - 13 - 2008

As in all cities where the event takes place, a number of children's charities have been invited to participate. In Nashville, children associated with the Pencil Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA will attend courtesy of the Monster Truck Challenge and Broken Bow Records.  Previous stops on the tour have included Middletown, NY; St. Louis, MO; Myrtle Beach, SC; and Minneapolis, MN.

Broken Bow's Jim Yerger, who serves as Executive Vice President of the Monster Truck Challenge, notes, "The relationship between the Monster Truck Challenge and country music is a great marriage, as they complement each other so well.  Involving various children's charities has added a new dimension to the event and has enabled us to give something special back to the kids."

Yerger continues, "Because the event is held at the Nashville Super Speedway, fans can also expect longer tracks, faster speeds, bigger jumps, and of course, monster excitement!"

Tickets to the event are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. However, Broken Bow is making discount coupons available to members of the music community. Yerger is hoping that more record labels and artists will get involved in future events, thereby increasing the benefits to local charitable organizations.

Interested Children's Charities who would like to be involved should contact Monster Truck Challenge office coordinator Megan Whalen at megan@monstertruckchallenge.com or at 615-244-8602.  Tickets are available at www.nashvillesuperspeedway.com or by calling 1-866-RACETIX.  The promotional code is P4-2008.

BEER FOR MY HORSES SOUNDTRACK BOWS AUGUST 12

Posted by admin On August - 11 - 2008

The movie is a road trip comedy starring Keith and comedian Rodney
Carrington as sheriff's deputies chasing a drug lord and kidnapper.
Written by Keith and Carrington, the film also stars Claire Forlani
(CSI: NY), guitar legend Ted Nugent, Barry Corbin, Greg Serano, with
special appearances by country icon Willie Nelson and Golden Globe
nominee Tom Skerritt.  The film is directed by Michael Salomon.

And the album's 12 tracks include plenty of connections to Toby and
his movie. New trio Trailer Choir, signed to Keith's Show Dog
Nashville label, have the soundtrack's first single, "Off The
Hillbilly Hook," which will also appear on their debut album for the
label. Co-star Ted Nugent offers up his classic "Cat Scratch Fever"
and "Stranglehold." And Mel Tillis adds "Burning Memories" in
addition to an onscreen cameo.

Show Dog's Carter's Chord offer "Song Of Blue" and label mate Mica
Roberts contributes "Let's Get Trashed," performed with Toby Keith.
Speaking of Keith, his duet with Nelson, "Beer For My Horses," is
fittingly the first track. Not to be outdone, Rodney Carrington
offers his bra-busting anthem "Show Them To Me."

Track Listing:

1. Beer For My Horses, Toby Keith & Willie Nelson
2. Off The Hillbilly Hook, Trailer Choir
3. Cat Scratch Fever, Ted Nugent
4. La Di Da, Gina Gershon
5. Choctaw Bingo, James McMurtry
6. No Mas Cerveza, Mac Davis
7. Stranglehold, Ted Nugent
8. Burning Memories, Mel Tillis
9. Song Of Blue, Carter's Chord
10. Show Them To Me, Rodney Carrington
11. If That Ain't Country (Part 2), David Allan Coe
12. Let's Get Trashed, Mica Roberts with Toby Keith

TRAILER CHOIR IS

Posted by admin On August - 8 - 2008

"Off The Hillbilly Hook" received strong fan response in only its first week of inclusion in the viewer-voted CMT Power Picks feature, and the network has responded by bumping the clip into heavy.

"The response to the video for 'Off The Hillbilly Hook' was immediate!" noted Jay Frank, SVP music strategy at CMT. "Within one week, the audience was searching and streaming the video on CMT as fast as the biggest new artists this year. Our audience always leads the pack and they are quickly pegging Trailer Choir as a bona-fide hit!"

The Tucson Daily Star also recently hailed the group as "not to be missed" performers. And while radio, video and media outlets continue to warm to the trio's good-time sizzle, fans can catch them out on the road across the US. Trailer Choir will spend the rest of the summer winning over converts on Toby Keith's Biggest & Baddest Tour as well as have the opportunity to draw in masses of fans later this month when they perform at the gargantuan Country Thunder festival in Twin Lakes, WI on July 16 & 17.

Additionally, "Off The Hillbilly Hook" is featured prominently in the upcoming major motion picture release Beer For My Horses, along with being the first single launched from the new soundtrack album in stores and online August 12th. Trailer Choir are Butter — the fast-talking frontman and master of ceremonies, Big Vinny — the buck dancing 380-pound-plus singer/songwriter, and Crystal — the soulful Louisiana beauty.
